Run for Heart - Run for Dad
This June, I’m running a total of 42.2km in honour of my Dad, William Death, who passed away suddenly from a heart attack on the 1st of February 2025 at just 52 years old.
Losing him has left a huge hole in my life, and I miss him every single day.
I’m taking on this marathon challenge in his honour — to celebrate his memory, to channel my grief into something meaningful, and to help prevent other families from going through the same heartbreak.
I’ve set a fundraising goal of $500, and every dollar raised will support the work of The Heart Foundation. Your donation will help fund vital research into new therapies to improve recovery and survival following cardiac emergencies.
Every step I run this June is for Dad. I’m doing this with him in my heart, and I hope that through this run, I can help others avoid the pain of losing someone they love. If you’re able to donate, it would mean so much to myself and my family.
