This June, I’ll be taking every step with my heart in mind as I tackle a marathon distance to raise awareness and funds for those impacted by complex heart conditions, like my own journey with idiopathic recurrent pericarditis.
Living with this condition, I rely on immunomodulating medications which have been life-changing but are often expensive and hard to access. By raising funds, I hope to improve access to treatments like these and support advancements in research that could bring more options to those who need them most.
