Will you help me Run For Heart?

This June I'll be feeling my heartbeat as I move a marathon distance to support people in Australia impacted by heart disease.

My Grandma has Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, a genetic heart condition where the heart muscles thicken and make it harder for the heart to pump blood. This condition is genetic and can be passed down to children and grandchildren, such as myself. Currently, there is little medication and treatments for this condition, however, she has been granted to trial a new medication which has helped reverse the impact this condition has had on her heart. It’s made a huge impact on her quality of life, and has saved her life in my eyes as i was close to loosing her multiple times last year. 

I am running to raise awareness for this genetic condition which affects 1 in 200-500 people in Australia, and raise funds to research it, and help others gain life-changing access to this new treatment.
