I’m Running for My Heart—and My Future

This June, I’m running a marathon distance for something deeply personal: my own heart and the future I now have because of it.

I was diagnosed with heart disease at 17. For years, I lived with the daily reality of a failing heart—uncertain of what the future might hold. But on March 11, 2025, everything changed. I received the greatest gift of all: a new heart. Life-changing surgery gave me not just a second chance, but hope—for myself, and one day, for the family I dream of building.

Now, as I take this next step in my heart journey, I’m choosing to move forward—literally and figuratively—by running for the Heart Foundation. I’m doing this for the 1 in 6 Australians affected by cardiovascular disease, and for every person still waiting, hoping, and fighting for their tomorrow.

Your donation means more than you know. It helps fund life-saving research and support that can change lives—just like mine was changed.

I’m ready to Run for Heart. Will you stand beside me and help save lives?

Please donate today. From the bottom of my new heart, thank you.
