Running for my Ancestors

Proudly participating in the Run for Heart fundraiser in support of the Heart Foundation to honor my Indigenous ancestors and run for every heart that beats among our indigenous mob.

Heart disease is the leading cause of mortality among the indigenous population, with a prevalence twice as high comparatively to non-indigenous Australians.

Being a deeply personal cause, the funds raised will drive critical research aimed at developing novel technologies and therapies for the manage heart disease, helping close the indigenous health gap and progressing disease management for the wider Australian population.
